Aimed at people who have not really done much running previously, or who are returning to running after some time off.
Get your confidence and ability boosted with our 1 hour run training sessions incorporating interval & hill training.
Contrary to what you might think, we don’t just ‘go for a run’, we don’t do a set distance, nor do we stick at a set pace. We walk / jog to the start of the session, then base ourselves in one place for the main session then cool down walk / jog back to the start.
The main run training session consists of various types of interval training on the flat and on hills (yes!), where we work on stamina, technique, strength and general enjoyment of running.
Everyone works at their own ability, no one gets left behind – a win-win situation!
PS. There’s no need to get fit / lose some weight before coming to these sessions – in fact they are ideal for achieving both of those goals!
